This room is used for animals that need intensive care and close monitoring. The room has different size cages, heating and oxygen stands. The room also enables treated animals a calm recovery from anaesthesia and operations while being closely monitored.
During the spring season, hundreds of orphaned nestlings and fledglings are brought to us for treatment. This treatment includes lots of feeding, cleaning, maintenance and monitoring.
'The Nursery Room' was buit to provide the best area for the little ones to grow and develop.
The room includes a big window- providing the chicks with the necessary UV and a view of the outside. This window is also used for educational purposes: guided groups can take a peek in the nursery room without interference to the chicks.
Are main goal is to provide the best care for the chicks in a method that prevent imprinting, so that we will be able to release them back to the wild.
